From the airport, head towards Braga (A28 or A3). In Braga, take the direction of Chaves via National Road 103. After 55km, past the village of Paredinha, you will find the Venda Nova dam — cross it and follow the direction of Paradela (EM 308-4).
On reaching Paradela, follow the direction of Fiães do Rio. After the Fiães do Rio sign (approximately 20m later), turn onto the first paved road on the left: Rua do Forno.
From Porto Airport, by train (cp.pt) or bus (getbus.eu), you need to go through the city of Braga.
In Braga, take the bus towards Montalegre (Transdev — transdev.pt):
